eXp Commercial Onboarding Instructions
Welcome to eXp Commercial!
We’re thrilled you’re taking the next step to join our fast-growing, innovative brokerage. Please follow the instructions below to complete your onboarding process smoothly.
Step 1: Complete the eXp Commercial Application

Once the webpage opens, click “I'm Ready.”

This will take you to the start of the application process.
Step 2: Sponsor Information
When prompted for your Sponsor, please enter:
➡️ “Tom Truong” (or the name of the person who personally sponsored you).
Step 3: Gather the Following Information
Before beginning, make sure you have the following details handy:

🪪 Real Estate License Information

👥 Sponsor Information
-
💳 Banking Information
-
How you will pay eXp (for onboarding or monthly fees)

How you want eXp to pay your commissions

Step 4: Financial Tab – Third Party Payment Tip
💡 Tip: When you reach the Financial tab of the application, you’ll see a pop-up question asking:
“Is a third party paying your fees?”

If Yes, provide the name and email address of the person who will be paying your fees.

You’ll still need to enter your own payment method for our records.

Don’t worry — your payment method will not be charged unless the payment arrangement changes later.

Step 5: Review & Sign the Independent Contractor Agreement
At the end of the application process, you’ll be asked to review and sign the Independent Contractor Agreement Packet.

Some fields will be pre-filled based on your previous answers.

Carefully review and complete all required documents before submitting.
Step 6: Application Review & Next Steps
Once all forms and applications are complete:

Our team will review your application within a few hours.

If any clerical errors are found, we’ll return the document for revision.

If no revisions are needed, we’ll send you license transfer instructions.

Once your license is received at the state level, we’ll activate your account and release access to your eXp tools and services.
⚠️ Note: You will not be required to transfer your license until the agreed-upon date listed in your Revenue Share Placeholder Addendum.
